Biography

Jack Adam Battise, Sr was a member of the Turkey Clan of the Alabama-Coushatta Tribe and lived on the reservation in Polk County, Texas. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp serving honorably in the Phillipines during World War II. He served one term on the Alabama-Coushatta Tribal Council, where he encouraged tourism.
