Biography

Addison P. Wyman was an american teacher, author of various popular pieces for the piano. He was born at Cornish, New Hampshire, showed a fondness for music, made special study of the violin and became teacher of this instrument, taught for awhile at Wheeling, West Virginia. In 1869 he founded a music school at Claremont, New Hampshire. He died at Washington, Pennsylvania, in the spring of 1872.
