Record book for Gertrude Shanafelt, as club secretary, with pre-printed pages completed with her handwritten entries and notes which include meeting minutes and roll calls.
Record book of the Ingleside Club, 1894-10 - 1899-05
Contents appear to contain the meeting minutes of the club, its intended objective being the study of poetry and prose of any author selected by the club and/or its members select. The club was initially called The Lawrence Literary Association but changed to The Eureka Club, complete with articles of "incorporation". On May 30, 1896, a meeting was called for the purpose of changing the name to that of the Ingleside Club.

It is noted that Gertrude Shanafelt held the position of Secretary in January of 1966.

The letter begins, "I have failed to find your Sunday School report in the county paper for sometime. I miss seeing it very much. Thinking that perhaps you are out of report cards, am enclosing some for your use...."
