Biography

Jennifer Carlson was a University of Tulsa employee, and secretary of Special Collections from 1987 to 1995. In 2007 she returned to the University but not to Special Collections except briefly as an intern in 2016. She was responsible for organizing some early collections, Archives, and the Arkansas Basin Development papers. She was also a donor of numerous gifts in kind to Special Collections.

Scope and Contents W. C. A. 146. Turks, Frenchmen, Jews, Englishmen, Belgians, Indians, and Russians, all in prison camp. This highly interesting photograph, taken in one of the German detention camps in Central Germany shows prisoners from almost every nation and race that is set against the Germans. From reports that leak out of Germany it appears that they Allies do not get along as well in prison as they do on the field of battle. In one of the camps, the Frenchmen protested to the commander in charge...
