Existence and Location of Originals
Photostatic copies of original tear sheets from Saunder's Newsletter and Daily Advertiser, The Mato, The Freeman's Journal, The Irish Times, and The Dublin Evening Mail (all reporting on the Travers vs. Wilde case in Dec 1864) have been removed from the papers due to their poor condition. Ellmann acquired his copies from the National Library of Ireland.
