This series has been organized by the following categories: Andre Deutsch's personal files (boxes 1-6), company finances (box 7), Meeting Minutes (box 8), Pending Projects (boxes 9-10), Internal Affairs (boxes 11-12), Newsclippings (boxes 14-15), General Correspondence (boxes 14-42), Permissions (boxes 43-53), Rejections (boxes 54-80), Miscellaneous (box 81), and Oversize proofs (boxes 82-83).

Staff Files

This series was largely taken from office filing cabinets in the Andre Deutsch Ltd. publishing house. While the original integrity of the files was slightly distorted due to water leakage, every attempt has been made to keep the files together as they came to us. Nothing in the files has been altered, and every attempt was made to replicate the notes on the original files on to the new archivally safe folders.
