Papers relating to the translations and publication of works by Amelia Biagioni, Rosita Copioli, Susana Thénon, Giovanni Ramella Bagneri, Renzo Barsacchi, Mariella Bettarini, Olga Orozco, Luisa Giaconi, Massimo Mori, Liliana Lukin, Vincenzo Pardini, Sandro Penna, Margherita Guidacci, Vivian Larmarque, Gianna Manzini, Guido Gozzano, Marcello Pirro, Dino Buzzati, Giorgio Luzzi, and Giorgio Chiesura; as well as correspondence American Literary Translators Association, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The collection also contains teaching materials used by Treitel during her tenure as a professor of Spanish and Italian at Tulsa Junior College, as well as materials on literary criticism, feminism and contemporary philosophy.
