Photo album inscribed to Mrs. Mary Hemenway with the compliments of Edward Isaiah Thomas (Treasurer, William Duncan Fund, Boston, MA). Handwritten inscription inside front cover reads "A. [N.] Spicer from K.H.S. Boston, 98." Also rubber stamped "Property of American Merchantile Marine Library Association, Boston Dispatch Office." Images include views of the Metlakahtla area in Alaska including local inhabitants, Union Hotel and lodgers, residential quarters, boats and canoes, and Christmas celebration.
