Biographical / Historical
From 1856 until Oklahoma statehood in 1907, the Chickasaw nation consisted of five divisions: Tishomingo County, Pontotoc County, Pickens County, and Ponola County. The nation's capitol was in Tishomingo (now Tishomingo, Oklahoma.)
