Scope and Contents
Invitational announcement to the public, in celebration of the US Supreme Court overturning the conviction and death sentences of nine African American boys. The event was sponsored by the Communist Party of the United States of America, under the auspices of International Labor Defense. In addtion to unnamed prominent speakers, the celebration included a showing of the films, "Harlem Sketches", "Scottsboro News Reel", and "Le Million".
