Summary
Image featuring four men, hung by the neck from the rafters in a barn, by a lynch mob. Hand-printed caption reads: Jim Miller and Pals hunge ba mob [sic]. Ada Ok. 1909." On verso: Arrows note the names of each man hung (West, Duvall, Allen and Miller).
A photographic copy produced by M. M. Ward Studio and Mary M. Hughes of four men hanged in a stable in Ada, Oklahoma, April 19, 1909. From the veiwer's left to right, Jim Miller, Joe Allen, B. B. Burrell, and Jesse West. These men were lynched in retaliation for the murder of A. A. Bobbitt.
