Consists of 16 photographic prints by Edward H. Boos (advertising manager of the Missoula Mercantile Company, Missoula, Montana) featuring the Native American residents of the Flathead Reservation in western Montana. Most of the prints bear Boos's official seal.

Biographical / Historical
Edwards H. Boos was born in Kentucky on April 1, 1877. He attended the University of Montana in 1896. He worked as a correspondant for several newpapers in the Missoula area. He began working as a photographer in 1900. He is known for his photographs of the people and landcapes in the Montana area as well as the flathead reservation in the 1900s.
