American Indian Newspapers presents the publications of a range of communities produced in the United States and British Columbia, including Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawai’I, Nevada, and Oklahoma. It includes a wide range of subjects from an indigenous perspective, including civil rights, the American Indian Movement (AIM), education, the environmentalism, land rights and cultural representation.
