A two story house with a balcony around the second floor and a totem pole in front. The totem is identified as Skool-Kahs in Howkan, Alaska. A second, unadorned wooden pole is erected in front of and to the left of the Skool-Kahs totem. A man stands with his right hand on the totem. Two windows are visible on the second story and two windows on the first, with the window on the left being smaller and located above a door. House identified as belonging to Chief Skowl's sucessor.
