This is the letterbook of Brinton Darlington (1804-1872), agent for the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribes, and contains copies of letters sent out from the agency. They are all on official business, mostly signed by Darlington, but some of the later ones were signed by Jonathan D. Miles, acting agent.
