Welcome to The University of Tulsa's Archival Catalog

The University of Tulsa manages the McFarlin Library's Department of Special Collections and University Archives and partners with the Helmerich Center for American Research, which houses the library and archives of The Thomas Gilcrease Institute of American History and Art (Gilcrease Museum).

This Collection Resources Catalog contains descriptive information about manuscripts (which include but are not limited to letters, diaries, and other papers), photograph albums, historical institutional records, and other primary source research collections. Links to online digital access are included when available.

Both Repositories’ books, theses, dissertations, other published formats, and selected other materials are described in the University’s Bibliographic Catalog. To search for books housed at the Helmerich Center, please search the Bibliographic Catalog and refine your search by selecting “Helmerich Center for American Research” beneath the Institution filter.

For more detailed information about the Gilcrease’s archival collections, please see Gilcrease Online Collections.

For specific questions about our holdings, please contact the Department of Special Collections and University Archives or the Helmerich Center for American Research.
