Frederick Morris Lookout Native American music recordings, 1955-1969

Scope and Contents Fredrick Morris Lookout, Jr. was an Osage singer, and after his death the University was given a collection of 57 reel to reel tapes of various Native American Singers, conversations with native speakers, and dances.

Paul numbers, African-American historical and caricature numbers, early telephone and airplane songs and illustrations, and photographs depicting dress and activities of the period performers of the day and scenes of the era.
