Scope and Contents
The Martin L. Goddard ephemera consists of account books, receipts, hand bills and product advertisements relating to a general merchandise store owned and operated by Goddard in Dutch Mills, Arkansas. Most of the material is addressed to Goddard; later receipts and bills of sale (c1920-1930) are addressed to C.W. Messicks, also of Dutch Mills, Arkansas. Among the papers is correspondence to Goddard from family members, friends, and colleagues.
