Consists of photographs, calling cards, pamphlets, calendars, diaries, clippings, autographs, quotations, costume and scene renderings, correspondence, playbills, programs, and posters. All materials pertain to performers, American and non-American theatres, plays and other performed works, collectors, miscellaneous, and oversized materials.

Consists of 42 autograph letters, dating from 1820-1890; 7 Theatre Royal (Covent-Garden) playbills; 2 portraits; and other materials related to Alfred Booth, Edwin Thomas Booth, John Wilkes Booth, Junius Brutus Booth, Mary Francis McVicker Booth (wife of Edwin Thomas Booth), Jervis McEntee (landscape painter), and James Hubert McVicker.

The George Bernard Shaw ephemera consists of handwritten and typed correspondence between William D. Cox and Shaw and a typed letter from Cox's publisher to Cox. The remaining material consists of theatre programs of productions of Shaw's plays and photocopies of press cuttings of articles by and about Shaw.
