Constance Holme papers, 1932-1954

Scope and Contents

The Constance Holme papers consist of a series of 151 letters to the English book collector R.N. Green-Armytage, in which Holme comments on her writings and on the works of others, World War II, and her daily life. Included with the correspondence are typescripts of a short story and several poems, Christmas cards, and press cuttings.

Eliot Bliss diaries, 1959-1980

Scope and Contents

The Eliot Bliss diaries, housed in five legal-sized document boxes, consist of 19 volumes of daily diaries dating from January 1959 to December 1960, and January 1963 to August 1980. Additional notes, correspondence, poems, photographs, and sales receipts are laid into many of the diaries, all of which have been noted in the inventory. Please refer to "Notes on my Diaries", written by Bliss.

Elizabeth Coles Taylor papers, 1946-1973

Scope and Contents The Elizabeth Jennings manuscripts consist of 39 notebooks and loose sheets of handwritten working drafts of approximately 2,225 poems, many with handwritten revisions, written between 1973 and 1992. The poems were said to be unpublished at the time of acquisition and cover a wide range of topics including artists, composers, and writers.
