Scope and Contents

17 black/white photographs featuring scenes of the allied victory parade in Paris, August 1944. Images include views of marching American, French and United Kingdom military divisions; armored cars, personnel carriers and howitzers; the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and Place de la Concorde; crowds of French civilians; and dignitaries such as Charles de Gaulle and Winston Churchill.

Scope and Contents U.S. Army, World War II photo album documenting Richard Kenneth Lee's activities from Fort McClellan, Alabama to India (India-Burma Air Service Command, Karachi Air Base), 1942-1945. Richard Lee was with the US Air Force 479th Bomb Squadron. The album consists of 170 b/w photographs mounted in album with paper photo corners in a commercial photograph album with black cloth boards, patriotic emblem embossed and gilt stamped to cover, stating "My Photo-Memories of Service in the U.S. Army"...
