Fredrick Morris Lookout, Jr. was an Osage singer, and after his death the University was given a collection of 57 reel to reel tapes of various Native American Singers, conversations with native speakers, and dances.

This collection consists of approximately 350 shellac records, either 10" or 12" from c. 1903-1930. One children's book with corresponding 4" vocal recards are included as well. There are 14 records boxes with approxiamtely 25 records in each box.

200 pieces of vintage sheet music dating from the late 19th century to about 1920, includes early Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin, and E. T. Paul numbers, African-American historical and caricature numbers, early telephone and airplane songs and illustrations, and photographs depicting dress and activities of the period performers of the day and scenes of the era.
