Ben Byrnes collection of Ralph B. Creamer WWI diaries, 1918
Group of 4 manuscript diaries dated June to December 1918, written in great detail by Ralph B. Creamer (579th Ambulance Service, US Army) about his experiences [as a mechanic] in WWI -- from his training at Allentown, Pennsylvania, to his service in Italy, and including the time leading up to the Armistice.
Bert Hebbes WWI letters, 1916-1920
Charles Alfred Bredin WWI-era papers, 1918-1968
A collection pf papers, letters and ephemera relating to Charles Alfred Bredin. A Diary and some materials set during his time in Co. D, 317th Machine Gun Battalion, 81st Division, AEF during the first World War. He later served with the 15th Infantry Regt. in China. Correspondence with his fiance, Grace Manning (AKA Olivia Lee Bredin). Bredin was originally from New York, and later moved to Tulsa in the 1930s.
Eberl family WWI-era letters, 1905-1926
Approximately 600 letters, feldbriefs and feldpostcartes to and from Alois, Gottleib Jr., and Max--three sons serving in the German Army--and their family. Many letters are from France, approximately 130 of which are from Gottlieb Jr. written from an English POW camp.
Ed Granger journal, 1917-1919
The diary of Lieutenant Ed Granger from Aug 1917 through Jun 1919. Lt. Granger was a dentist and served the 138th Infantry Regt., 35th Infantry Div. Granger writes about his experiences in WWI. He trained at Camp Doniphan, Oklahoma.
A manuscript diary, written is dos-a dos fashion, several pages have been torn out.

1918 pocket diary of Fred R. Batchelder US Army 401st Telegraph Battalion, Supply Detachment. 165 daily entries documenting his experiences while serving in France. Includes descriptions of the countryside, the extensive damage of country, towns, and villages, German prisoners of war, massive air sortes, bombing and shelling, etc.
Gustav Keller WWI-era letters, 1914-1917
The Gustav Keller archive of approximately 270 fieldpostcards and fieldpostbriefs between his wife Maria and their children. Keller served as a Lieutenant in the German 5th Army, 4th Company.
Hans von Steffins WWI-era letters, 1914-1918
Approximately 300 letters and postcards from Hans von Steffins, a military aristocrat (7th Reserve Corps), to his wife Baronin Leoni Steffins. Included are a handful of letters and postcards from von Steffins to Countess Nini Pocci and to unidentified recipients.
