Biography
Steven P. Barrett was born in Arkansas, lived in Tulsa from childhood, graduated from Booker T. Washington, and earned a degree in history from the University of Oklahoma. He worked at the Tulsa City-County Library for 32 years, taking the bookmobile to public housing complexes and delivering books to library patrons who couldn't come to the library themselves.
