June C. Lind, 80, of Coffeyville, Kansas passed away Monday, June 20, 2011 at her home.

June was born on August 6, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Kansas to Clifford A. and Helen Mae (Martin) Daman. She grew up in the Coffeyville area where she attended Field Kindley High School and Coffeyville Community College.

In 1946 she was united in marriage to Richard J. Bell the couple made their home in California and of that union three children were born, the couple later divorced. In 1958 she was united in marriage to Ben E. Woodward the couple returned to Coffeyville in the mid 1960’s and of that union three children were born, the couple later divorced. She later married Edward J. Lind he preceded her in death in February of 1985.

June worked in retail sales. She worked for TG and Y, Sears and spent the most amount of time working for V and S formerly known as Gibson’s. She enjoyed painting, writing, sewing, crocheting and reading. June even wrote a book but never had it published. She was a member of the First Church of God in Coffeyville. She loved spending time with her children, family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Bell of Emmett, Idaho, Gary Bell and wife, Karen of Coffeyville; daughters, Tammy Woodward of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jennifer Woodward of Coffeyville; sisters, Della Mae Smalley of Adair, Oklahoma, Barbara Jean Clover and husband, Melton of Kuna, Idaho; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
