Civil War Veteran. He was a Capt. and Asst. Quarter Master of United States volunteers. He was the Captain in Company B, 3rd Minnesota INfantry.

Transcription of Captain Fisk's journal entries regarding his overland expedition (third trip) from St. Anthony Falls, Minnesota towards the mouth of the Big Horn River.

Transcriptions by C. N. Kessler, pertaining to Captain Fisk's expedition to Montana Territory, based on press clippings of articles collected and kept in a scrap book by Mrs. A.J. Fisk. Articles covered Fisk's leaving Fort Abercrombie, Minnesoa to his arrival at Forts Berthold and Union in Dakota Territory. Contents include Captain Fisk's address to the Traveller's Club of New York, circa 1965, on the subject of the mineral wealth in the area.
