Biography
British poet and literary critic. English language professor. Contemporary of Rupert Brooke, Robert Frost, Edward Thomas, and J.R.R. Tolkien. Served as a munitions examiner during WWI. After his death it was discovered that his name was included in "The Black Book," a German list of Britons who were to be arrested in the event of a Nazi invasion of Britain.
