Represented are Hammers Anvil Press, Cummington Press, Leo Hart, James Low, the Typophiles, Press of the Wooly Whale, Lawton and Alfred Kennedy (book designers of San Francisco), and Book Club of California.

Content Description The cornerstone of this collection is a complete holding of the publications from the Book Club of California. From its beginning in 1913 to the 1980s, it has published over 160 books that reflect not only historical and literary developments in the West but also represent many of the finest accomplishments in printing and typography in California.
