Scope and Contents There are eleven letters to and from Governor William Burnet (one in French) concerning Indian matters and trade with the Indians. A copy of records kept at a conference between Governor Burnet and Indians from the six tribes, September 7, 1726, concerning surrender of Indian lands is included among these papers.
