Typed caption pasted on verso: "Saigon: It's bad luck to wear old clothes during Tet - the start of the new lunar year. So young and old are busy purchasing new frocks one week before the big annual holiday. At the Saigon Market, where vendors spread their wares on the ground, one little girl is fitted for a new dress while her sister waits topless for her turn."
