Biography
Born in Alexandria, Virginia. He first enlisted in 1867 into L Company, 10th U. S. Cavalry Regiment. He was discharged in September 1872 at the end of his service. He re-enlisted in September 1887, I company, 10th U. S. Cavalry, and September 1892. He retired March 1895, Fort Assinniboine, Montana. He is buried at Arlington Cemetery.
