Stedman's handwritten and signed poem, "Custer", a revised version from the version originally appearing in the Chicago Tribune, 16 Jul 1876. Also included: a handwritten fragment featuring biographical notes, a blurb about Stedman's poem "The Discoverer", and (on verso) an excerpt from p7 of an unidentified manuscript; a 6 x 9" brown envelope bearing handwritten notes regarding the contents above.
