The cuff patch on the right sleeve indicates a rating in communications, the patch over the right breast pocked indicates an honorable discharge. Medals from viewers left to right are Asiatic - Pacific Campaign Medal, Army Good Conduct medal, American Campaign Medal (with another below it), World War II Victory Medal.
