Tulsa's First Fire Engine, Undated
Scope and Contents
This slide shows the Tulsa Fire Department's first fire wagon. This image was taken before 1913, when all horse drawn equipment was eliminated. The Tulsa Fire Department was the first fully motorized department west of the Mississippi. According to the caption, the building behind is the old High School Building on Fourth between Boston and Cincinatti.
