Group of Canadian soldiers at a trench buying produce (possibly potatoes or garlic bulbs) and Wrigley's Doublemint gum from two young girls in France, as indicated by the French text on the candy box. Photos taken by William Rider-Rider, the official photographer for the Canadian War Records Office between June 1917 and December 1918.
