Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.
"My dearest Wife, I have been in Petrograden all this week and a very worrying week I have had of it. [?] the Bolsheviks shut down our newspaper [turner?], but that is only one of the [many?] little difficulties and I wish it was all. The BOlsheviks have also stated their intention of seizing the works at [Mitisubi?]. That is a much more serious matter..."
