Scope and Contents

"My own dearest Wife, This time I have got a budget of your letters via Findlay who arrived a few days ago and has now left for Vladivostok. There are apparently some letters missing as you allude in later ones to something you had said in previous ones but they may yet turn up as the post is most erratic. I had a letter dated Jan. 9th yesterday from London and to-day I got one dated Dec. 28th so there is still hope for the wanderers. I am glad you had such a nice time in Brighton and that it did the kiddies and you good..."
