"My own darling Wife There is nothing much to add to my last letter and with the [inception?] that Morrison and Buckley both lunched with me as arranged on Firday my life since my arrival in Petrograd has been principally occupied with picking up the threads of what has been done in the past and looking into the future possibilities. We did not get into Petrograd until nearly twelve o'clock in place of ten or 10.30 as I had hoped but when it is as late as 10 [?] another hour or two does not make much difference..."
