 Item — Box: 1, Folder: 4
Identifier: 2005.002.1.1.4.019

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.

Date is a guess in Briggs's handwriting.

Scope and Contents

"My own darling Wife I have just received the second letter from you since my return! Fancy that, only two letters and it is now over a month since I left London. Evidently some of your letters are getting stopped or lost or something, but as you have not mind I know that nothing serious can be the matter but I was none the less very glad to get your letter and know really that you were still alive. Perhaps your ears have been troubling you too much to let you write. I see from your letter that they are bad again. Don't let them go on and get worse and worse by go and see Dr. Mollison in town and get him to tell you what to do. I would not trust too much in the local doctors..."
