Calder-Marshall, Arthur to "My deaest Lallie" [Alice Calder-Marshall], 1915-01-06
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.
"My dearest Lallie, I have the chance of sending you home a letter by kindness of a W. [Knasp?] who leaves to-day for England and will be there about a fortnight. Please therefore send anything you want to send to the office about a week after you get this letter with a letter to W. Redmayne asking him to forward it by W. [Knasp?] or the [mail?] man to come out. All I am aware of wanting is tobacco of which I should like him to bring..."
