Calder-Marshall, Arthur to "My dearest little wife" [Alice Calder-Marshall], 1915-08-05
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.
"My own darling Wife, The enclosed letter is rather amusing. It has been home and back again and now I am sending it back to you once more and hope that it will reach you alright. I was at Kieff again last week but got back here in time for my birthday and thank you once more in case you have not received the last letter for the [bark?] and the keys of the pipe for I take it that this came from there..."
