Calder-Marshall, Arthur to "My dearest wife" [Alice Calder-Marshall], 1915-08-25
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.
"My dearest Wife, I have sent you a batch of postcards which are being posted today and I want you to let me know if this letter ever reaches you the difference in the time between the p.c. arriving and this letter. I have just had your letter with the photo which by the bye are all horrible and not a bit like any of you and the difference between this and your postcard was as far as I remember about two weeks..."
