Calder-Marshall, Arthur to "My dearest wife" [Alice Calder-Marshall], 1917-10-14
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.
"My dearest Wife, I am sending you a telegram on Monday because I have absolutely not had a chance of writing for the last three weeks and even now in order to write am leaving undone urgent work that I ought to do. Well, now for the reasons. First of all our new revised contract is still in the process of going through but still not gone through and I can't wait for it much longer..."
