Calder-Marshall, Arthur to "My dearest wife" [Alice Calder-Marshall], 1917-06-08
Scope and Contents
Photocopy of the original letter. It is unclear why these letters are included with the collection, and may have been a separate research project that Julia Briggs was working on.
"My dearest Wife, Just a few lines from Moscow as I have a little time to spare before I leave for the train which takes me back to Petrograd tonight. I came down here on Tuesday night, spent yesterday on the works and today in Moscow in a more or less unsuccessful hunt for a branch office and office manager..."
