"Dear Mrs Bland, You don't know me, but I was your friend before I had finished the first page of "The Would-begoods" which was the first of your books I had read. Since then, the whole family has read and enjoyed "The Treasure Seekers" and "The Book of Dragons". We liked them so much that we would like to read "The New Treasure Seekers" and "Oswald Bastable and Others", both of which we have seen advertised in English magazines..."
