"Dear Mrs Bland, I have delayed writing to you in the hope that I should be able to include a copy of the finished E.Nesbit[sic] commemorative booklet with the letter. Three-day weeks and paper shortages have, however, played havoc with the printer's schedule. He assures me that 2,000 copies will be ready on "the day" but I am still much on tenterhooks..."
