"Dear Mrs. Moore, Certainly we are pleased to answer any questions we can on the matters about which you write. I think you have mixed up the dates in Pease's "History". If you will look again on page 46 you will see that it says that in January 1885, Mr. Bland and Mr. Shaw gave lectures, and in a later paragraph "on March 20th, Webb and Olivier were elected members". This was March 20, 1885 and not 1884 as you seem to suppose..."
