Scope and Contents

"My dear (E.N.'s special sign) Dymchurch is the deuce - though it has it[sic] nice features. My last ballon d'essai (which I don't know how to spell) preparatory to coming to see you, revealed you in full flight for Dymchurch, there to be indefinitely. A week ago I had news that you were at Well Hall again, and I began to gird upon my loins and look for a leisure day when I could run down, and now, before the day has come, off you go again !..."
