Mockford, Daphne and John to Miss Nesbit [Edith Nesbit], 1918-01-18
Scope and Contents
Transcribed copies from the original letters.
Letters were sent together. Daphne Mockford was the mother of John Mockford.
"Dear Miss Nesbit My little son (who loves your children's books nearly as much as I do!) brought the enclosed funny little letter home from school and asked me if I thought he could send it to you - I told him that I felt sure you wouldn't mind if I did - If, by any chance, you were good enough to send him an answer, would you mind sending it to this address - the one he has put on his letter is his school-address..."
