"Dear Professor Andrade, This is to tell you that there is to be, almost immediately, a five shilling edition of E. Nesbit, and that amends are to be made to you for not having acknowledged the loan of the photograph we used as a frontispiece. We want to scrap the horrid jacket which appeared with the fifteen shilling edition, and to use that same photograph as the chief attraction of the new jacket. I enclose a rough proof of it, which I should be grateful if you would return..."
